We are delighted that charismatic former MP and Cabinet Minister, Tony Benn, and internationally-renowned musician, Roy Bailey, will headline the inaugural Leamington Looks Back festival.
The duo will appear at the Royal Spa Centre at 7.30pm on 27 May, to deliver their award-winning act, The Writing on the Wall: A History of Dissent in Words and Song, thus grounding our festival as ‘the people’s history’.
For this event they won Best Live Act at BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2003.
Majestic. Provocative.
Quietly inspiring

What comes across most strongly is their idealism, their principles, their sincerity,
their love for what they do and audiences sense this immediately.
